Not many students like or are happy with the art of dance and prefer to play. Especially fifth grade students still do not understand about dance. They prefer to play alone rather than learn the art of dance, so that fifth grade students do not know or lack knowledge about art because of a lack of interest in dancing, especially for male students. The purpose of this study was to find out the efforts made by the teacher in increasing interest in dance through a creative - productive model for fifth grade students at SD 10 Banda Aceh. The subjects in this study were homeroom teachers at SD Negeri 10 Banda Aceh. Observation and interview data collection techniques, data processing techniques using descriptive analysis. The results showed that after conducting research at SD Negeri 10 Banda Aceh, for approximately 1 week, based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the efforts made by the teacher in increasing interest in dance through creative-productive models are by providing motivation, fostering, facilitating by providing learning media such as You Tube, conducting dance practices to students, providing directions and forming dance patterns so that students can easily understand them so that students are motivated to like dances and want to learn about culture in Aceh, so that students are motivated to follow dances, students will learn more about SBdP. Students' attention in SBdP learning using the creative-productive model is higher than without using the creative-productive model. The initial observation with an average value of 2.9 is categorized as not good and the final observation uses a creative-productive model with an average value of 3.6 which is categorized as good.
