Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran IPA Melalui Model Kontekstual di Kelas IV SD Negeri Panca Tunggal

Abstract
The problem to be studied in this study is to find out whether the application of contextual learning models can improve student learning outcomes in Science Class IV Elementary School Panca Tunggal?. While the purpose of this research is to know whether there is an increase in student learning outcomes after the implementation of contextual learning. This study uses three cycles of classroom action research. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: design, activities and observations, reflection, and revision. The target of this study was the fourth grade students. The data obtained were in the form of the end of the cycle test results, observation sheets for teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis, it was found that student learning outcomes increased from the first cycle (50.00%) or there were 6 students with an average grade of 63.75, the second cycle (75.00%) or there were 9 students with an average grade of 63.75. class average is 71.08, cycle III (91.67%) or there are 11 students with an average grade of 76.92. The conclusion of this research is that learning with contextual learning can improve student learning outcomes in Grade IV of SD Negeri Panca Tunggal and this learning model can be used as an alternative to science lessons.
