Abstract

Most students focus more on SBdP lessons on painting, dancing and handicrafts that require cognitive skills such as attitude and affective and psychomotor in making a product or skill that has high artistic value and power. Some students are not interested in SBdP because they think SBdP is not interesting and does not provide knowledge like other subjects such as Mathematics and Civics. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the interest and creativity of fourth grade students on the learning outcomes of SBdP at SD Negeri 53 Banda Aceh. The research population was all students of SD Negeri 53 Banda Aceh for the academic year 2022/2023 totaling 471 students consisting of 220 boys and 241 girls. The research sample was class IV-A (23 students), as a technique for collecting observational data, tests, data processing techniques using the t-test. The results showed that the value of β = -0.142 means ß1≠0 and probability value. Thus, it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, meaning that interest has a negative effect on SBdP learning outcomes at SD Negeri 53 Banda Aceh. Creativity value ß2 = 0.477. (ß2≠0) and probability value. Thus, it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, meaning that creativity affects SBdP learning outcomes at SD Negeri 53 Banda Aceh.
