PEMBELAJARAN SOSIAL SKILL DALAM RANGKA MENCEGAH PERUNDUNGAN (BULLYING) KEPADA SANTRI DI PONDOK PESANTREN DAYAH TERPADU INSAFUDDIN BANDA ACEH

Abstract
The Social Skills Training program was conducted at Dayah Terpadu Insafuddin Islamic Boarding School, Banda Aceh, with the aim of equipping female students at the junior and senior high school levels with social skills as an effort to prevent bullying. The implementation method employed a participatory approach through interactive lectures, simulations, educational games, and group reflections. This program took place on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 8:15 to 9:30 PM, with a total of 25 participants. The main materials focused on six core social skills: empathy, assertive communication, conflict resolution, self-awareness, self-management, and social responsibility. The results indicated an increase in students’ awareness of the importance of social skills in preventing bullying behaviors. Empathy training enhanced students’ sensitivity to others’ feelings, assertive communication encouraged them to express opinions politely and confidently, while conflict resolution fostered problem-solving through consensus. Furthermore, self-awareness and self-management helped students regulate emotions, and the Kindness Bingo game promoted social responsibility through simple acts of kindness. Overall, the program proved effective in fostering a more positive, harmonious boarding school environment that supports the development of students’ Islamic character.
