SMART FARMING : OPTIMALISASI SUPLAI AIR LAHAN UNTUK PRODUKTIVITAS PERTANIAN DESA GONOHARJO DENGAN AUTOMATIC IRRIGATION SYSTEM BERBASIS ENERGI HIJAU TERINTEGRASI SIMPELDES
Main Article Content
Abstract
Gonoharjo Village, located on the slopes of Mount Ungaran, Central Java, has great potential in the agricultural sector, but faces challenges in the form of a conventional irrigation system that is not optimal, especially during the dry season, and village services that are still manual. The PPK ORMAWA HIMA ILKOM FMIPA UNNES program seeks to address these issues through the application of Internet of Things (IoT)-based technology and digital information systems. This program includes the development of a green energy-based Automatic Irrigation System to support equitable and efficient water distribution, as well as the implementation of the Village Service Information System or SIMPELDES to accelerate the flow of information and data management. Activities include site surveys, socialization of smart farming technology, installation of automatic irrigation equipment with solar panels, farmer education, and monitoring and evaluation. The program results show a significant increase in agricultural productivity and water management efficiency, supported by the community's enthusiasm for this technology. In addition, this program has an impact on strengthening the capacity of implementing students in project management, communication, and decision making. The implementation of this renewable energy-based technology not only improves farmers' welfare but also supports environmental sustainability. Through collaboration with the community and industrial partners, Gonoharjo Village is expected to become a model for implementing efficient, environmentally friendly, and sustainable smart agriculture in Indonesia.
