Vocational high school students, with their emphasis on skills and work readiness, often face unique challenges in learning English, particularly in speaking. Speaking anxiety emerges as a major barrier, hindering fluency, lowering confidence, and limiting practice opportunities, which in turn affects their overall speaking development. This study aimed to investigate the levels of English-speaking anxiety and its contributing factors among vocational students at SMK PGRI 4 Pasuruan. Employing a quantitative method with a cross-sectional survey design, data were gathered from 99 students in Grades X and XI using a questionnaire adapted from the Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS). The responses were analyzed with SPSS version 27 through descriptive statistics such as mean, percentage, and standard deviation. The findings revealed that 72.73% of students experienced moderate speaking anxiety, 14.14% showed high anxiety, and 13.13% reported low anxiety. The dominant factor was internal or psychological aspects (Mean = 33.74), including lack of self-confidence, fear of making mistakes, negative self-perception, and past negative experiences. Overall, students’ speaking anxiety was categorized as moderate. The research aims to identify the definition and characteristics of the middle class, analyze the structure and trends of increasing education expenses, and assess the financial burdens they face. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the study explores how the escalating costs—comprising tuition fees, development contributions, living expenses, and hidden costs—place middle-class families in a disadvantaged position. The findings reveal that these families often fall into a “squeezed middle” condition: ineligible for poverty-targeted assistance yet unable to comfortably afford high-quality education. This financial strain limits accessibility, weakens human resource quality, reduces social mobility, and creates risks for long-term national economic development. In response, families adopt adaptation strategies such as long-term financial planning, saving and investing, seeking scholarships, and improving financial literacy. At the policy level, comprehensive interventions are required to balance affordability and quality. The validity, reliability, difficulty level, differentiation index, and distractor strength of the test were analyzed. Data were collected through teacher-made multiple-choice tests as well as student answer sheets. This study used the ANATES program to analyze the test results. The results show that most of the questions were in the very easy category with a percentage of correct answers of more than 85%. Only a few questions have a medium or very difficult level of difficulty. In addition, the differentiating power of most questions was low, indicating the lack of ability of questions to distinguish between students with high and low abilities. Distractors on many questions also proved ineffective in directing students to choose the wrong answer. The research employed a <em>Research and Development</em> (R&amp;D) method using the Rowntree development model, consisting of three main stages: planning, preparation for writing, and writing-editing. Product evaluation was conducted using Tessmer’s formative evaluation model, which includes expert review, one-to-one evaluation, small group evaluation, and field testing. The research subjects were 30 fourth-grade students, with validation carried out by material, language, and design experts. The results indicated that the textbook achieved a high validity level after the revision stage. The practicality test obtained an average score of 80% with positive feedback from students. The effectiveness test showed an improvement in learning outcomes with an <em>N-gain</em> score of 0.76 (high category) and student activeness reaching 90% (active category). Penelitian menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Pretest-Posttest <em>Control Group Design.</em> Sampel penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X AKL tahun ajaran 2024/2025 yang berjumlah 68 orang, dibagi menjadi kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 soal. Analisis data meliputi perhitungan rata-rata, standar deviasi, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan <em>Independent Sample T-Test</em> pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai <em>post-test</em> pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi (85,74) dibandingkan kelas kontrol (62,35). Uji hipotesis menghasilkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 &lt; 0,05, yang menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok. The research is motivated by the importance of preserving the Singkil community’s oral tradition, which is rich in cultural values but increasingly less understood by the younger generation. The aim is to describe the types of meanings contained in dendang poetry and its social functions. The study applies a qualitative descriptive method with a semantic analysis approach. Data were collected through observations of Dampeng Dance performances, interviews with pengkhulu khonde (dendang poets) and traditional leaders, as well as oral and written documentation. Data analysis refers to Fang and Chaer’s semantic theory, covering lexical, grammatical, contextual, referential, non-referential, denotative, connotative, conceptual, and associative meanings. Menurunnya kualitas pendidikan akan berdampak pada kualitas lulusan yang pada akhirnya berakibat pada rendahnya kualitas sumber daya manusia Indonesia. Berdasarkan data Susenas 2023, tingkat penyelesaian pendidikan nasional untuk jenjang pendidikan SD/sederajat adalah sebesar 97,83 persen. Sementara itu, tingkat penyelesaian untuk jenjang pendidikan menengah pertama (SMP) adalah 90,44 persen, hal ini menujukkan adanya penurunan persentase lulusan dari jenjang SD ke SMP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji serta mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi guru, penggunaan internet, dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa di MTs Unggulan Al- Jadid Waru Sidoarjo. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 116 siswa sebagai sampel penelitian. Instrumen penelitian diuji untuk validitas dan reliabilitas, serta data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear dengan bantuan SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dua dari ketiga variabel, yaitu kompetensi guru dan motivasi belajar, memiliki pengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Motorik halus merupakan kemampuan gerak yang melibatkan otot-otot kecil, khususnya pada jari-jemari tangan, yang sangat penting dalam mendukung aktivitas sehari-hari anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus pada kelompok A TK Al Amin Palopo dengan jumlah subjek 10 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini mencakup observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada keterampilan motorik halus anak setelah mengikuti kegiatan kolase dengan media bahan alam. Pada siklus I, rata-rata persentase perkembangan motorik halus anak mencapai 58,1%, sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 91,2 %. Kegiatan kolase dengan media bahan alam terbukti efektif dalam melatih koordinasi, ketelitian, dan kekuatan otot-otot halus anak. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari konselor sekolah sebagai informan utama dan satu guru BK pendukung sebagai triangulasi. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konselor sekolah berperan penting dalam memberikan dukungan emosional, menerapkan strategi konseling individu dan kelompok, serta mengajarkan teknik manajemen stres kepada siswa. Konselor juga melakukan evaluasi berkala dan membangun kolaborasi dengan guru dan orang tua dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang suportif. One <br>relevant approach is the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, and <br>Mathematics (STEM) education with deep learning, which focuses on conceptual <br>understanding, reflection, and active student engagement. This article aims to <br>review recent national and international research findings on the implementation of <br>deep learning-based STEM integration to enhance 21st-century skills among <br>Generation Z. The study employs a literature review method by analyzing scientific <br>publications from accredited national and international journals. Treatment that can be done for hypertension sufferers is to comply with taking hypertension medication, and it is very difficult to do so that family support is needed in carrying it out. This study aims to determine the significant relationship between family support and compliance in taking hypertension medication in the elderly in Kuantan Hilir District. This study was conducted using an analytical observational method along with a cross-sectional research model. The results of this study showed that patients with a good family support category were 46 people (82.1%) and non-compliant in taking hypertension medication with a total of 10 people (17.9%). There is a significant relationship between family support and compliance in taking hypertension medication in the elderly in Kuantan Hilir District. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMKN 1 Pantai Cermin dengan subjek siswa kelas XI AKL 1 yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Objek penelitian adalah model pembelajaran <em>Contextual Teaching and Learning </em>(CTL), yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas belajar dan tes hasil belajar, dengan analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil observasi pada siklus I menunjukkan bahwa 17 siswa (53,13%) termasuk dalam kategori sangat aktif dan aktif. Pada siklus II, jumlah siswa dalam kategori tersebut meningkat menjadi 29 siswa (90,63%), yang telah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan ≥75%. Rata-rata nilai pre-test adalah 56,25 dengan 8 siswa (25%) tuntas, sedangkan post-test siklus I menunjukkan rata-rata 74,38 dengan 19 siswa (59,38%) tuntas. Post-test II mencapai rata-rata 92,81 dengan 30 siswa (93,75%) tuntas, juga memenuhi indikator keberhasilan ≥75%. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-ekperimen. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 11 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji beda wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan motorik kasar anak mengalami perubahan perolehan nilai dibandingkan sebelum perlakuan diberikan dengan nilai T hitung (55) &gt; T tabel (11) dan Z hitung (2,80) &gt; Z tabel (1,645). Dengan demikian hipotesis diterima. Siroj pasca@ecampus.ut.ac.id Siti Julaeha pasca@ecampus.ut.ac.id <p>This developmental research produced a contextual-based integrated social studies (IPS) textbook focused on the theme of natural conditions and population activities for seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Pagar Alam. The textbook development followed the Dick and Carey model, encompassing stages of needs analysis, design, development, and formative evaluation, including self-evaluation, expert review, one-on-one evaluation, small group evaluation, and field testing. Expert validation confirmed that the textbook is valid and suitable for use after revisions based on expert feedback. Practicality evaluation during the small group phase received positive responses, with an average score of 80.95%. The effectiveness of the textbook was demonstrated by a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes, indicated by an N-gain score of 0.76 (high category), alongside a high average student engagement rate of 85.85%. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa lembar observasi keaktifan belajar dan tes hasil belajar. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan hasil pengamatan keaktifan belajar siswa terdapat 20 orang siswa (59,82%) pada siklus I masuk dalam kategori aktif, mengalami peningkatan signifikan menjadi 29 orang siswa (85,29%) pada siklus II, dan melebihi indikator keberhasilan ≥75%. Kemudian pada hasil belajar, nilai rata-rata <em>pre-test</em> sebesar 59,91 dengan 7 orang siswa tuntas (20,59%), meningkat menjadi 73,55 pada <em>post-test</em> siklus I dengan 16 orang siswa tuntas (47,06%), dan mencapai 87,44 pada <em>post-test</em> siklus II dengan seluruh siswa (100%) tuntas, dan melampaui indikator ≥80%.
