Metodologi Penafsiran Al-Qur’an (Tahlili dan Ijmali)

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain and elaborate on tahlili and ijmali interpretation methods in the interpretation of the Qur'an. The research method used is literature research. Tafsir is one of the ways to know and show the meaning and purpose according to the content of the verses of the Qur'an. As for the interpretation methods used by interpretation experts in the interpretation of the Qur'an can be grouped into four methods; First, the method of tafsir ijmali. Second, the method of tafsir tahlili. Third, the maudhu`i interpretation method. Fourth, the muqarran interpretation method. As for what is discussed in this article, tafsir tahlili and ijmali. Tafsir tahlili method is one of the methods in the interpretation of the Qur'an. The tahlili method tries to analyze and explain the verses of the Qur'an as a whole and comprehensively. The explanation covers verse reading, nahwu building and sharaf, the reason for the verse's nuzul, the global meaning of the verse, the wisdom of the Shari'ah and others. Tafsir al-Qur'an that uses this method is very beneficial for students of knowledge, especially in the field of Al-Qur'an science to deepen their understanding of the Al-Qur'an and Tafsir. It's just not right for beginners. Tafsir ijmāli is a method of interpreting the Qur'an with a brief, global and not lengthy explanation. And this method is very suitable to be used for beginners and the general public in understanding the Qur'an. The steps are to systematically explain the verses of the Al-Qur'an, explain in general and the meaning of the mufradat, based on the rules of the Arabic language, and the language used to try to select diction that is similar to the words used by the Al-Qur'an. Although the methods of interpreting the Qur'an are different, the essence remains the same, that is, the commentators try to explain the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an for themselves and others.
