Hakikat Ilmu Pengetahuan dalam Perspektif Pendidikan Islam

Abstract
Knowledge in Islam holds a fundamental role in shaping individuals who are faithful, knowledgeable, and morally upright. This study aims to examine the essence of knowledge from the perspective of Islamic education, its role in character and spirituality development, and its application in the modern era. The research employs a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis of primary sources, including the Qur'an, Hadith, and relevant literature. The findings reveal that knowledge in Islam encompasses both worldly and spiritual dimensions, aiming to enhance devotion to Allah SWT and build a just civilization. The integration of modern knowledge with Islamic values in education offers a strategic solution to address the challenges of globalization, despite hurdles such as curriculum gaps and limited human resources. This study underscores the importance of Islamic education based on the essence of knowledge to produce a generation excelling in intellectual, spiritual, and moral aspects.
