Abstract

21 st century education is learning that integrates literacy skills, knowledge skills, and attitudes and utilizes information and communication technology. Therefore, an educator must keep up with the times in designing a learning model, which is technology-based. So far, what is often done by a teacher at SD Negeri Indrapuri uses a learning model with the lecture method, and presentations with PTT and it is still very rare to use a Video-based learning model using the Canva application. research on the Video-based Science Learning model is carried out using the observation method, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are that children experience an increased enthusiasm for learning or children's interest in learning, increasing understanding, adding vocabulary, improving thinking skills, and increasing children's creativity so that children can implement it in their daily lives. Making learning videos using the Canva which is a free application provided by the Ministry of Education and Culture for educators through learning accounts. Through learning videos, it can make it easier for teachers to provide understanding and question and answer with children so that the learning process is not only teacher-centered. A video-based learning model on science material is considered more effective and creative so that learning objectives can be realized properly.
